A true Italian family restaurant, with Americanized menu. Chefs from Campania, near Naples. Casual service, low prices, emphasis on a steady clientele rather than haute cuisine. The food is modest, plentiful, mostly regional and local recipes, served by friendly family members. More Reviews from ZAGAT

Sometimes simple is best. The plain at Antimo's Italian Kitchen proves a winning combination of crust and cheese.

Hopewell, NJ, about five miles north of Princeton, is rapidly becoming a destination for locals seeking alternatives to the high-priced, mediocre fare in that university town. Hopewell remains a little village, with a nice family atmosphere, and Antimo's is one of the most popular family restaurants in town, for an easy weeknight out, pizza after the soccer game, or a weekend outing. It is not a special occasion destination, but one you can visit each week-- as many do. More Reviews from Urbanspoon

After a few solid months of take out, we noticed that the guests eating in at the restaurant seemed really happy and everyone brought in their own wine and took time to enjoy their meals. The first time we went to eat in, we found out why they were so happy. Ida, Antimo’s younger sister, is a very warm and friendly waitress and Antimo and his younger brother Benny are wonderful attentive hosts. More Reviews from Citysearch

Antimo's Italian kitchen is the best place to go for Italian food. You can tell that Antimo's uses only the best ingredients in their meals and pizza and will use nothing less or cheap. When I don't have time to cook for family only Antimo's will do. I also had a party catered by Antimo's and everyone raved about the food and how delicious it was. I am never disappointed in the quality of their food. Their prices also are pretty reasonable. If you want the best I'd try Antimo's! More Reviews from Yahoo! Local
